Never heard of Mel’s Smells before? It is a unique store located in Downtown Martinsburg that is a great place to buy a variety of neat crafts. The shop is most famous for its scented candles that are hand-poured and made from soy. These soy candles not only smell great, but they are also known to burn longer than regular wax candles. Mel’s Smells also has fantastic handmade lye soap. Their soaps are made with vegetable oils and do not contain any harsh chemicals, so they are better for your skin. They also make carpet dust and car sacks. Mel’s Smells definitely knows how to make you and your home smell great!
In addition to their own products, Mel’s Smells sells a variety of other crafts. They carry unique jewelry, crafts, and food created by local residents. You can also find items as diverse as apple butter, quilted purses, wooden birdhouses, and more.
If you can’t make it to Martinsburg on a regular basis, you can also shop online on the Mel’s Smells website. You can choose from many different scents.
