Shepherdstown Street Fest
If you are heading toward Shepherdstown Friday evening through Saturday, you will find that you may have to take a little detour. Why is that? King Street will be closed for the annual Shepherdstown Street Fest! However, instead of taking a detour, you should find a parking spot and check out the event, which will be taking place all day Saturday. There will be crafts, delicious food, good music, adult beverages, and more!
There will be many vendors and artisans present for the annual Shepherdstown Street Fest. They will be selling delicious treats and beautifully crafted items you won’t find anywhere else. Take a look at these adorable needle felted and clay sculpture creatures by Aniclay on their Facebook page. That is just a small taste of the unique crafts that will be available to purchase at the festival. You can find a complete list of vendors and artisans here.
McMurran Hall will be the spot where the kids will want to visit on Saturday. Throughout the day, they will be offering a special Kids’ Camp, which is sponsored by the Morgan Academy Kids’ Camp. There will be face painting, crafts, kid-friendly music, and more. The Kid’s Camp will be open from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
The following bands will be performing throughout the day:
Herb and Hanson
Christian Lopez Band
Mink’s Miracle Medicine
Mike Westcott Band
The Plate Scrapers
The Johnny Neel Band
The Reckless Island
Yo Mamma’s Big Fat Booty Band
You will not want to miss the free after party at the Opera House featuring music by Sacred Groove!
