New Thai Restaurant in Downtown Charles Town

Business Spotlight: Sumittra Thai Cuisine – There’s a new restaurant in town, and everyone is talking about it! Sumittra Thai Cuisine officially opened in July 2016 in downtown Charles Town, West Virginia and has been busy all week. If you love spicy, tasteful food, you’ll love Sumittra’s.

With its original location in Frederick, Maryland, Sumittra decided to expand after seeing a need in Charles Town. Their main restaurant has been a staple in downtown Frederick, receiving great reviews from all who visit. With an almost five star rating, they have been serving the area for several years with much success.

Their menu is a mix of delicious foods with Asian roots. Whether you’re looking for a hearty curry dish or prefer noodle bowls, Sumittra has it all. They have many of the well-known favorites, like pad thai, spring rolls, and wonton soup, but they also have unique creations.┬áIn addition, Sumittra works with your dietary needs, so if you are vegetarian or vegan, you’ll be sure to find something tasty to eat. For those who are worried about spice, they even give you a chart on the menu so you can avoid anything too spicy.

The ambiance is warm, colorful and modern. This is a great place for date night and families! Come for lunch, dinner, or even takeout. Everyone is welcome.
